Thanksgiving/ Weekend in LA with my sisters!

This year for Thanksgiving all of our family and all of my dad's family got together at my aunt's house for Thanksgiving. Our family's schedule is pretty irregular so it's really something when we all get together for a Holiday! So even though Thanksgiving food isn't really my 'favorite' I still had an awesome time!

Here's my dad carving the turkey! WHAT A MAN!

Okay I am well aware this picture is rather unflattering of me, but I just had to post it because its of me and my uncle John! I don't really see him that often but I love him!

Wasn't my mom SO kind to join me and Anna at the little kids table!

Me, Anna, and my Momma!

My Aunt Bea and Mom!

Look at my mom sneakin' a little peak!

Every time me, Amy, and Anna get together it only means one thing........SISTER PHOTOSHOOTS!

I felt it necessary for me to have an indie picture of me just staring. I got my wish.

Crazy sisters!

Later that night Anna&I went to my sister Amy's house in LA SO MUCH FUN! We got there at like 10 PM and went strait to the pier! It was sooooo cold but SO awesome to be on a beach all alone with magical Chrismas lights! (I think we were all alone because we were the only ones crazy enough to go at that hour)

Next day we went to the LA fashion district and the Griffith Observatory! In the picture above you can find us taking a picture with a crazy shop owner in the fashion district who demanded a picture with us.....yeah, it's creepy.

We went to Griffith Observatory and had SUCH an awesome time! We got a pizza and had a freezing picnic while overlooking the hollywood sign! The camera wouldn't focus on the sign though :( bummmeerrr

Me and Amy just chillin on the moon!

BFF Enstien!

Ahhh that weekend was soooo awesome! PS I need to blog more!

MADISON BARNEY TURNS 15 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dear best friend,
I love you so much! And in honor of your quincenara I thought I would write my 15 favorite things about you, In no particular order.
1.You are incredibly fun
2.We have an inside joke for almost about everything. People probably think we are insane.
3.I love how alike we are
4.I love how incredibly UN ALIKE we are.
5.You have an amazing way with words
6.You have great self confidence but you are NEVER cocky!
7.We may disagree but you NEVER hold grudges
8.You have had me in your house for ungodly amounts of time. I would call you crazy but I never wanna stop our weekend traditions.
9.You never get that pissed that I can’t stay up late for SNL, or during babysitting when I can’t stay up past 10:30
10.Your never mad when I wake up at 7 and then wake you up at 8  well your never really mad…..RIGHT MADISON?!
11.I admire your organization and your orderly way of doing things.
12.Your one smart cookie. I wish I had HALF of the smarts you have…. Maybe I would be able to pass Algebra 1
13.I love how no matter HOW late it is or how tired you are you always wash your face and get things done before sleeping. I always brush my teeth and then go straight to bed BUT NOT YOU MY FRIEND!
14.Your extremely caring and you go out of your way for others, even that darn cat.
15.Just you being YOU! We have been through so much together and this is gonna sound soooo cheesy but I wouldn’t be the same without you. You and your family have been so amazing to me and I am so grateful! Stake youth beach trip!

Let me tell you, it was a riot.

I drove up with Nicky and Sarah which was super fun!

Me and Sierra basically just modeled the whole time.

Most of these pictures are of me because 1 I'm a total ham and 2 Sierra is the photographer, Im the one that falls off of the 7 foot rocks.

there was this GIANT Jetty that Sierra kept having me climb and take pictures on and I slipped TWICE on these giant rocks. But it could have been worse, a sister from someone elses ward fell down the rocks and got super scraped up...ouch.

wasting the day away taking pictures but don't worry, we got in the water.

sorta.

Don't let the boogie board fool you, it's strictly decoration. I only went in like half way into the water because it was supeerrrr cold and noone wanted to go with me :(

LOOK we wern't completely anti social, heres a picture of cute lil' Brooke. And I hung out with Selena a bit, and walked down to the pier with Michael and Clay, that was fun :D

Perfect day, and I gotta say, the massive sunburn is pretty much worth it.

In a perfect world

One of these would be my homecoming dress

But it's not a perfect world, and thats okay. I found a cute one from forever 21 but I LOVE these ones.
I can't decide if I like the lavender or the silver one best. I haven't totally decided on the forever 21 one ( I can't find a picture of it on forever21.com D: or else I would put it on). In a REALLY perfect world I would just wear my winter ball dress again, cause I was SO in love with it and it would save me all of the hoopla of picking out a new one, but I'm a sophmore now and I guess wearing the same dress 2 years in a row is sortaaaaa weird.

But here's the closest I could find to my one from last year.
At least I still have some time to find a new one!

Del Mar Beach

Beaches just happen to be my favorite place in the whole entire world.Just so you know.

The ride was pretty uneventful. Just Madi&I being obnoxious in the back seat, and 5 year old kate being JUST ABOUT THE CUTEST THING EVER!

Isn't is so pretty? Trust me, my cell phone pics don't do it justice.
Me and Madi rented boogie boards and had fun with those for 2 hours. I love boogie boarding cause its a sport I'm actually semi good at. The sports I'm good at are always the ones that people don't think of as 'real' sports, for instance, I have hoola-hooped for 54 minutes one time, and I'm good at jump rope and Paton twirling. But I can't do the PE sports....but I digress.

These n00bs in front of us were cussing loudly and talking about super heros. One of them said "I am going to write a book about this last hour of my life" and I just wanted to scream 'NO ONE WILL WANT TO READ ABOUT THIS LAST HOUR OF YOUR LIFE,SITTING ON A BEACH TOWEL WHILE THE GIRLS BEHIND YOU LAUGH AT YOU!'
People watching is fun. Discreetly taking pictures of others while they don't know about it is funner.

Aren't Madi and I a pair of beach goddesses? I thought so.

I told Madi I would post a pic of her feet.

We walked the shops by the beach together. Our favorite is 'the frustrated cowboy' the lady inside was nice.

Doesn't this cowboy look frustrated?

Imma marry him.

There was a train track on the beach so Madi and I put some coins on the track and ran away to a nearby bench at a safe distance to be in safety while we waited for the train TO SMUSH THE PENNIES AND NICKELS INTO SWEET SHAPES!

Everyone was impressed.Even this dude.
