Del Mar Beach

Beaches just happen to be my favorite place in the whole entire world.Just so you know.

The ride was pretty uneventful. Just Madi&I being obnoxious in the back seat, and 5 year old kate being JUST ABOUT THE CUTEST THING EVER!

Isn't is so pretty? Trust me, my cell phone pics don't do it justice.
Me and Madi rented boogie boards and had fun with those for 2 hours. I love boogie boarding cause its a sport I'm actually semi good at. The sports I'm good at are always the ones that people don't think of as 'real' sports, for instance, I have hoola-hooped for 54 minutes one time, and I'm good at jump rope and Paton twirling. But I can't do the PE sports....but I digress.


These n00bs in front of us were cussing loudly and talking about super heros. One of them said "I am going to write a book about this last hour of my life" and I just wanted to scream 'NO ONE WILL WANT TO READ ABOUT THIS LAST HOUR OF YOUR LIFE,SITTING ON A BEACH TOWEL WHILE THE GIRLS BEHIND YOU LAUGH AT YOU!'
People watching is fun. Discreetly taking pictures of others while they don't know about it is funner.




Aren't Madi and I a pair of beach goddesses? I thought so.

We walked the shops by the beach together. Our favorite is 'the frustrated cowboy' the lady inside was nice.

There was a train track on the beach so Madi and I put some coins on the track and ran away to a nearby bench at a safe distance to be in safety while we waited for the train TO SMUSH THE PENNIES AND NICKELS INTO SWEET SHAPES!



Everyone was impressed.Even this dude.

I was pretty skeptical of camp at first (read my post on maryperson.tumblr.com I have no clue why i'm blogging on here but whatevess). We were staying in our years, not our wards and there were a lot of new changes I wasn't used to. So I was a little wary.

well, the biggest lesson I got from girls camp was to be positive. I didn't have that much fun the first two days because I didn't make them fun I spent too much time being negative and I am like super disgusted with myself for being a Debbie Downer.


I really did have an awesome time at camp, and one of the reasons is that my old YW President got to go this year as the craft cabin lady. I love her so much because she loves to take pictures of me to have fun with the girls because she has 6 BOYS AT HER HOUSE! She took some awesome pictures of all of us girls at camp this year!(that's her reflection in my shades in this picture)

Another reason I loved camp this year was because of how close I got to some girls at camp. Me,Madi,Tati,and Sierra have never been so close. We all had SO much fun this year just hanging out and making people say non-sense words ( Blarfingar anyone) what can we say were n00bs.
What can I say, me and these girls have been through thick and thin together. I love them!

Another thing our group did this year was give all of our leaders nicknames/adding them to our family tree.All of our leaders got one! Now let me see if I got this right...

Sister Rucker- Aunty Ruck Ruck, the cool aunt who will give us $ and party with us
Sister Vanbuskirk- Aunty SHELLLY, The cool crafty aunt who married into the family.

Sister Risk- Aunty RISKY-The strict aunt/accountant who will make you nice heart felt gifts for your birthday.

Sister Biesinger- Aunty Lillie/ The kinda strict/cool aunt who is not as cool as aunty ruck ruck BUT our mom will still leave us with her for the weekends.

Sister Dean- MOMMA DEAN/ our loving caring mother who spent 9 months with us in her womb
Did I get them all right Tati? Oh and Sister Kempton, I don't think we made one for you but one IS ON THE WAY! And we love you a lot!

As strange as it may seem, one of the funnest times I had at camp this year was... KITCHEN DUTY! I know, weird right? Well it was super fun bonding with girls was doing the dishes after dinner! We were throwing bubbles, singing camp songs, and being super silly. And I gotta thank the cooks for not only being so awesome to go up for a week to make yummy nom nom food, but for letting some crazy teens into their kitchen and messing things up!


We had SUPER fun at the lake telling the snack shack boy he was hot ( and Tati being super embarrassing...wha?)And racing home to be the first ones to the shower back at camp. We succeeded.


There were a lot of shenanigans this year at camp but a lot of laughs a giggles as well.

A lot of service and spirt.



And a lot of memories.

SPRING BREAK!!!!!

I have had so much fun during this spring break! I just don't want it to be over yet! But I have a lot of pictures so imma post em!

I have gone my whole life thinking that I have no cousins, and technically, I don't. BUT when my Aunt got married to my uncle Reno he already had a son and a couple grandsons, So that counts right?

My uncle Reno is behind me and my "cousin" is in the red shirt and my "second cousin" is the one with the long hair.

Next stop VEGAS! Me,my mom,Anna,Amy,and Amy's boyfriend Kobe went and we stayed at planet hollywood. At the Planet Hollywood, every room is themed after a different movie, and it has real costumes and props from a different movie. Our room was the 'Lost In Space' room

yeah, I haven't seen it either.
Then we went to M&M factory. I love that place it always smells so good there! And also according to the price of the M&Ms there, each M&M must be made out of solid gold.





And we also went to Coke world.


and I ran into this guy...

I was very angry cause I DID NOT give my boyfriend permission to leave the house!!!!! naw, just playin. As weird as this sounds, I was SO EXCITED when I saw this guy because Perez Hilton always makes posts of this guy on his site. His name is the Pretty (wo)man!
haha the next day we went to my grandma and Papa's house and we took some cute pictures!

when I got home I went and saw the Last Song with Madi and sister Terry! It was sup-par, but the food afterwords was AMAZING!
The next day I went to the beach with Madi and her family!


The water was FREZZZINNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but It was still fun!


Right on the beach there was a railroad so Me,Madi,Andrew,and Madi's cousin tried putting a penny on the railroad so when the train went by, the penny would get smushed. But then we lost the penny it must have been carried away. But anywho isnt the beach SO PRETTY!


and I am proud to report that our sun burn was minimal!
The next day I was SO EXCITED for because my best friend Nick came down to visit from Australia! He had to move at the end of last year, and I have webcamed him almost every couple days!

Yeah so spring break was good! PS sorry that this was ridiculously long lol

This is the first Saturday night I have been at home

Since January. I have been at Madi's house every weekend,since January. Seriously.And it would have been since October, but I went to Vegas last winter break, so we didn't have our every weekend streak going on then. but anywho.

I went over to Madi's on Thursday night, slept over, then on Friday Tati came over and we had another fun filled sleepover but we had to get up at freaking 6 AM (!)on Saturday to go to the Talavera Easter egg hunt!



After we DOMINATED at the Easter egg hunt, and after Tati was done showing her buttcrack to everyone during a potato sack race(which she also won) we went home and rested up a bit before we went to the mall.

and malls mean photobooths, cute new sunglasses, yummy Pat&Oscars, adorable necklaces, and good times.
So now it's off to Vegas for me.From Sunday to Wednesday. Woooot!
ahh I love life.
